Hoge Veluwe National Park

The Hoge Veluwe National Park is located within a fifteen minute drive from the Thijmse Berg. It’s a park with a special history and international reputation. Definitely worth a visit, because the park has something for everyone. De Hoge Veluwe offers a great diversity of flora and fauna and three museums.

Good to know: visitors can explore the park on so-called 'white bikes'. You can use them free of charge, no additional costs.

The nature in De Hoge Veluwe National Park is impressive, to say the least. In the park you can enjoy a variety of beautiful landscapes: vast moors and grassy plains merge into sand drifts and deciduous and coniferous forests.

These landscapes are home to a wide variety of plant and animal species. From the dark green fritillary to impressive red deer, from the Alcon Blue to viper’s-grass; they are all to be found on the Veluwe.
